# Disney+ Error Code 73: Not Available in Your Location

*Live tool: in a browser this page shows the connection of whoever opens it. Below: what it checks and the answers it gives.*

> **What Disney+ shows:** "This content isn't available to watch in your current location." Or: Disney+ is only available in certain regions. **Codes:** Error Code 73

### Why Disney+ does this

Disney+ has a different catalog in each country, and some titles and live events aren't offered everywhere. Its help center calls error 73 a location problem.

Your current location comes from your connection's address. A VPN, a proxy or an address placed in another country makes Disney+ think you're somewhere else.

### How to fix it

1. Turn off any VPN or proxy, including iCloud Private Relay and browser VPNs.
2. Check the country above. If it isn't where you are, restart your router or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
3. Sign out of Disney+ and back in after the address changes.
4. If the country above is right and you still get error 73, Disney's help asks you to contact the Disney+ Help Center.

### What does Disney+ error code 73 mean?

Disney+ thinks your connection is in a country where the title isn't available, or comes through a VPN or proxy.

### Can I fix error 73 without a new account?

Yes. It's about your connection, not your account: once your address is placed in your own country and doesn't look like a VPN, it goes away.
