Every website you open sees your IP address and, through it, your internet provider and roughly where you are. This site shows you exactly that, and checks whether your VPN hides it.
Location and provider come from Cloudflare's lookup of your address. The connection type (home provider or datacenter) is worked out from the name of the network your address belongs to, so it's a good guess, not a certainty.
The site is paid for by NordVPN's affiliate program: when you buy through one of the links marked as ads, the site earns a commission.
