Why Hulu does this
Hulu only streams in the US. Its help center says it blocks anonymous proxies because of its content and advertising contracts, and it checks addresses against lists of VPN, proxy and datacenter addresses.
Hulu + Live TV also ties your account to a home network, so it watches where your devices connect from.
How to fix it
Turn off any VPN or proxy, including iCloud Private Relay and browser VPNs, and restart the Hulu app.
Restart your router for a new address, then reload this page to confirm it changed.
On a phone, try Wi-Fi instead of mobile data, or the other way round: mobile carriers share addresses between many users.
